About Us

For Te Korowai Arahi Charitable Trust to support the community, the role of trust is to be a programme that provides key features, financial arrangements and funding requirements.

This will mean to register as a provider of services and then to attain funds to develop programmes that will help youth and adults toward employment through training and further learning opportunities.

While youth and adults complete a work placement, they have their learning assessed against unit standards on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework [NZQF].

This is integrated through their career and employment options.

Moving forward for Te Korowai Arahi Charitable Trust will be providing broader educational options and strengthen pathways for Youth and adults in work experience, training and further education, training or employment.

A structured workplace learning plan, that is a formal learning arrangement, set in an actual workplace for a sustained period of time. This purpose is to provide opportunities to develop a clear understanding of the knowledge and skills required for future employment through achieving unit standards.
